Lanreath amenities was formed 11 years ago by Marion Facey. The group work together to hold events around the village including fireworks displays, live music and regular bingo nights. In 2011 they won the queens award for voluntary service by groups in the community, and they were invited to Buckingham palace to receive their awards (see below). The group have consistently worked hard to make sure that they offer something for all age ranges and their events have proved very popular.
